This week I participated in one of Linda Howe's online Akashic Records video classes. 'Akasha' comes from the Sanskrit, meaning "ether or primary substance." It's "a term used in theosophy ("divine wisdom") to describe a compendium of mystical knowledge encoded in a non-physical plane of existence" (Wikipedia). The idea of an Akashic Record of earthly existence is known in spiritual traditions around the world. In the Western Biblical tradition "The Book of Life" and "The Book of God's Remembrance" are references to this non-physical realm of knowledge.
In "Enjoying Health, Wealth, & Happiness as Expressions of Your Soul" Linda led us through a series of questions and concepts, allowing us to reflect upon them in a meditative state.
Linda invited us to consider the idea that our soul chose this body as the perfect vehicle for our soul's purposes and progress. As we reflected, we had the chance to look at why we may have chosen this body and how this decision can help us to manifest our highest good.
While considering our resources, in the broadest sense of the term, Linda reminded us that Divine Law states that "we will always, always have what we need to demonstrate or express our soul's needs in the present moment." Such reflections are a chance to view wealth from a higher, less fearful stance.
Finally, we reflected upon our current state of happiness, or unhappiness, and how we might use that for further soul growth.
Whether or not one believes in the concept of Akashic Records it can be quite useful to take some quiet time to consider one's present state of existence and ponder why it might be. Self-knowledge, whether from books, counseling, or studying the great wisdom traditions of the world is always useful and Linda's online video format was quite effective.
And if one is interested in a personal reading, Waco is fortunate in having a certified Akashic Records practitioner. Karen Low has spent the last several years studying with Linda and is highly qualified and intuitive.

Wonderful info, Brenda. Let me add my recommendation of Karen Low's Akashic Records classes and personal Akashic Records "readings." She is a quite gifted Akashic Records practitioner and teacher, and we are lucky to have her in Waco. Thanks for sharing this info more broadly.
